Andrew Chen
Professor
Computer Science & Information Systems
Professor Chen holds a BS in Math and Computer Science from the University of Richmond, MS and PhD in Computer Science from Michigan State University. His dissertation focused on sparse graphs with large numbers of spanning trees, with research spanning various areas of computer science. Currently, his work centers on the application of open-weight LLMs suitable for running on accessible hardware in novel ways, including simulations involving LLMs acting as agents, workflows consisting primarily of LLMs, and tools that enable either of the above.
